One voice for Chatham-Kent
The people who grow, build and invest here deserve to be heard first.
The Chatham-Kent Growth Alliance brings agriculture, housing, trades, real estate and local business together to inform municipal candidates on the policies that drive investment, housing supply and long-term prosperity.
We don't endorse candidates. We put the questions that matter in front of all of them — in public.
4
priorities we're asking every candidate to answer on
2 hrs
of direct, on-the-record conversation with the people asking for your vote
All
candidates invited — mayoral candidates first, then a full round-table
Open
to residents, farmers, builders, realtors and local business — spectators welcome
Four priorities for the next council

Consult early and often
Engage farmers, growers, builders, realtors and local industry before major decisions are made — not after.

Fiscal responsibility and transparency
Support housing, agriculture and industry with practical zoning so families and workers can live, work and thrive here.

Invest in infrastructure
Maintain roads, bridges, drainage and servicing that work for modern equipment, farm operations and new construction.

Ensure fair and sustainable taxes
Keep a simple, transparent tax system and avoid shifting the burden between residential, farm, industrial and commercial classes.
Tell us what you're seeing
What's holding growth back where you live?
A permit that took a year. A road your equipment can't use. A tax bill that doesn't add up. Send it to us — resident concerns shape the questions we put to candidates on September 9th.
